Brazil Terrestrial Restoration
for Water Resilience

Water Forest for Water

Previously cleared for agriculture and an aerospace exploration centre, this large-scale project aims to plant 5 million trees across thousands of hectares to revive the Pepital River basin. Working alongside Quilombola communities, this project will restore degraded Amazon-Cerrado transition zones, safeguarding local aquifers. This restoration initiative will enhance biodiversity, food security, and long-term water resilience for over 50 communities, totaling 20,000 people along with Amazonian ecosystems.
