Ground-Level Technology

Impact you can trust is  impact you can verify. At veritree, every planting session is backed by field-level data collection, from GPS-tagged planting records to post-planting monitoring, so the numbers behind your investment are real and have proof.

Survivability

Post- Planting Monitoring: Planting a tree is only the beginning. veritree verifies that trees planted support a healthy ecosystem through post-planting monitoring, with each planting site checked at defined intervals after planting. All monitoring is completed through the veritree app.

Trail Cameras

Eyes on the Forest: We install trail cameras at select sites to monitor wildlife presence. Trail cameras are turned on when motion is detected. These cameras spot larger species, including mammals, that aren’t detected using bioacoustic sensors.

Bioacoustic Monitors

Eavesdropping on Wildlife: Restoring an ecosystem means bringing back more than trees. veritree uses bioacoustic monitoring to listen to the landscape, capturing the sounds of birds at select restoration sites. These recordings offer a window into biodiversity over time, helping verify that as forests grow, life is returning with them.

The veritree App

Tech Hub for Tree Insights: The veritree App equips planters to collect verifiable, geotagged data. The app can be used to track planting activities, conduct survival monitoring, and collect socioeconomic surveys, even offline. We review all data coming in through the app to ensure accuracy. This ground-level evidence builds transparency and trust, connecting local restoration with global impact.

Reducing Environmental Footprint

"Hahn Air's partnership with veritree is the first of a number of nature-positive initiatives we are implementing. This involves reducing the carbon footprint of our own flights, of our business operations and our business travel activities. In this regard, it is important to us to work with a trustworthy partner who closely oversees and monitors the progress of our planting initiative.”

Generating Referrals

TELUS incentivized referrals by planting 5 trees per successful referral, supported by digital banners and a dedicated website section with direct integration through TELUS's site.

Spend to Grow

"We are very proud to partner with veritree, a partnership built on trust and integrity which perfectly aligns with bunq's core value of transparency. With veritree, not only are we able to see how many trees our users have planted and exactly where they are, but we can also measure the progress we've made on socioeconomic impact and biodiversity.”
